Jeff Sweeney was a longtime fixture in the Reno construction industry as well as supporter of the Big Dig.
Jeff was a 25-year employee at Cashman Equipment Company, mostly as a salesman.
He enjoyed the camaraderie of the Reno construction community, and nothing would make him happier than seeing this passed on to future generations through participation in the Big Dig. Jeff’s love of life and his terrific sense of humor were known far and wide. Talking about his wife, family and especially his grandkids was what really put a sparkle in Jeff’s eyes.
Jeff will be missed at the Big Dig, but each time you see one of the kids operating equipment and laughing with joy, think of Jeff - as he would be laughing too.
